Prevention of Sore Feet

To the Editor, " Indian Medical Gazette." ^IR,?A great deal lias been written and said about the prevention of sore feet in soldiers and sportsmen who perform marches ; still I take the liberty of suggesting a very simple remedy for this complaint which, trivial in itself, is of the greatest importance. For the last twelve years I have P?en accustomed to taking a great amount of pedestrian and Dlcycle exercise, but have never suffered from sore feet. The Method I adopt is as follows: I use two pairs of socks at a time, a thin tight-fitting pair and athick pair. The thin pair is put on first, then the thick pair, which is well covered with soap. The boots must be tightly laced. The outer thick pair of socks adhere to the inner side of the boots, the inner thin pair hold well to the feet.
